Instructions for Speed-Ball

The following outlines the rules for Speed-Ball.

Goal of the Game

Speed-Ball is a single player game (or: for multiple players forming one team). The goal of the game is to pocket all balls as fast as possible. The time is recorded.

Foul

For every foul, the player receives 30 penalty seconds.

Cue ball Sunk

Sinking the cue ball constitutes a foul. The player continues by placing the ball anywhere at the head of the table.

Correct Shot

A correct shot is when the cue ball hits an object ball against a side or into a pocket. If not, it constitutes a foul.

Shooting again (only used in games with more players)

After a shot, the same player goes again as long as a ball is sunk without a foul. Then, if several players form a team, it's the next player's turn.

Game End

The game ends when all balls are sunk.

Options

Upwards

When this option is activated, the pocketed balls stay in the pockets only if the lowest numbered ball has also been pocketed. If it hasn't, a 15 second penalty is added for every ball sunk. This rule applies to all shots after the break.
